Simple Fish In Plum and Ginger Sauce

Fish with Plum Sauce

  • 300 g. Fish Any kind
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Plum Juice
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Extra Virgin
  • 1 tbsp Onion Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce Light or dark
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 2 Shiitake Mushroom Optional
  • 1 tbsp Green Onion Cut into pieces
  • 1 Celery Stick Cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
To Make the Plum Sauce
  1. In a wok, heat up oil, and sauté the onions over a low heat

  2. Add plum sauce, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger, water, black pepper and mushrooms.

  3. Let the mixture simmer for about 1 minute.

Pan Fry the Fish
  1. Reduce the temperature to a low heat

  2. Add the fish

  3. Pour the plum sauce over fish
  4. Cover the wok and gently simmer for about 2 minutes

  5. Add the chopped celery and green onion
